Patrick Keogh
Physiotherapist

Pat graduated from Australian Catholic University (Ballarat) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. He also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne. Since graduating from his physio degree, Pat has been working in private practice in Ballarat, working with a wide range of patients. He also has experience in the hospital system, working as an Allied Health Assistant during his physio studies.

 

Pat has a real passion of providing individualized, patient-centred care and developing meaningful relationships with all patients that he sees. He is looking forward to helping people achieve their physiotherapy goals and regaining their quality of life.

James Sheehan 
Physiotherapist

James graduated from La Trobe University Bendigo in early 2013 with a Masters in Physiotherapy Practice and in his 10 years of practice has worked in various environments including hospital based care, hydrotherapy, aged care services and home based rehabilitation. 

 

James’ primary expertise lies in post-surgical rehab, reconditioning / falls prevention, aged care clients and cardio-respiratory therapy. James prides himself on building strong relationships with his clients and their families and being a strong motivator and support to assist people towards returning to things they enjoy in life.

Mitch Wingrove
Physiotherapist

Mitch completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia in 2015. Since then he has gone on to complete his Graduate Certificate through La Trobe University, and is due to complete his Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy this year.

 
Mitch has had the opportunity to refine his practice working across Australia and New Zealand, with a passion for guiding people back into the things they love, no matter where the issue in their body.

Namrata Limbad
Physiotherapist

Namrata graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015 and completed a Master of Health and Human Services in 2019 from Deakin University. She developed a special interest in neurological physiotherapy during her studies and has gained extensive experience working with a variety of neurological clients and conditions, across the acute, rehabilitation and outpatient settings.  

Since moving to Australia, she has spent over four years working in the Aged Care sector providing pain management treatments, falls prevention training, balance and gait retraining, and generalised reconditing, reflecting her passion for supporting this population. Namrata also holds a Telehealth role, using Virtual Reality treatment to work with clients of all ages and conditions. Alongside this role, she works at a Neurology clinic helping clients achieve their goals.

Sarina Lu
Physiotherapist

Sarina graduated from University of Melbourne with Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2011. She has had experiences in many different fields of physiotherapy since then, including acute and rehab hospitals, Paediatrics, Aged care, NDIS and community physio.


Sarina has found her interest lies working with clients in the community. It has been rewarding for her to work alongside different individuals in their rehab journeys, to be able to assist clients achieving their own personal goals and to help them to be the best of themselves in the community.

Healy Hammerton
Physiotherapist

Healy graduated from La Trobe University with a Masters in Physiotherapy Practice and since then has been working in Aged Care, Hospital and Community settings. 

 

Although only in the early stages of his career, Healy has found a strong passion for helping people recover from surgery, musculoskeletal injuries and neurological conditions. Healy especially enjoys working with the ageing population, as he enjoys listening to their stories and learning about their lives. Looking after the elderly is an incredibly rewarding experience and Healy thoroughly enjoys helping this population group to achieve their goals.

Kieran Toohey
Physiotherapist

Kieran graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Health Science, Masters of Physiotherapy in 2015 and is studying a postgraduate degree in a Masters of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through La Trobe University. As well as providing home-based physiotherapy with Flex Able Physio, Kieran is a senior clinician in the orthopaedic department at the Ballarat Base Hospital, working with people living with a multitude of musculoskeletal conditions including joint replacements, spinal surgery, shoulder surgeries and everyday aches and pains. 

 

Kieran enjoys helping people through their rehabilitation process and realise their goals following orthopeadic operations. Working with people before and after surgery has provided Kieran with a thorough appreciation of the complexity of pain and the importance of patient-centred rehabilitation.

Lawrence Justice Remigio
Physiotherapist

Lawrence graduated as a Physiotherapist and is currently completing his Masters in Traumatology through the University of Newcastle. He has worked both as a clinician and as a university lecturer which helped him build a strong theoretical and clinical foundation. 

 

With 8 years of experience, Lawrence's interests lie in pain management, post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation, reconditioning / falls prevention and disability therapy. He is passionate in delivering holistic care for his patients ensuring that each goal would be achieved.

Lauren Fink
Physiotherapist

Lauren graduated from Latrobe University in 2005. She has since furthered her studies with a postgraduate certificate in exercise for women and is a qualified Lymphoedema practitioner. Lauren's has many extra qualifications including a certificate 3&4 in fitness, Pilates, and boxing. 

 

Lauren has worked as a women’s health physiotherapist at St Vincent’s hospital for 12 years, working on both the gynae and obstetric wards as well as presenting the pre and postnatal education. Lauren has worked in all areas of private practice, with a specialist focus on women’s health and exercise prescription for almost 20 years. More recently, Lauren has been working as a home visiting physio, providing patients with rehab support post-surgery, post-acute care as well as aged care.

Joel Ow
Physiotherapist

Born in Singapore and raised in Perth, Joel made the move to Melbourne to pursue his studies – graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy.

In the musculoskeletal setting, Joel has had additional training in low back pain, neck, lower limb rehabilitation and shoulder injuries in everyday people and loves to individualise treatment options such as exercise-based rehabilitation and soft tissue techniques in a patient-centered manner, ultimately seeing patients pain-free and return to doing what they love.

 

Joel also has 6 years of experience at Brunswick Hospital helping patients with their rehabilitation and achieving their physical health goals. He is equipped and experienced to help populations ranging from paediatric to geriatric, sedentary to sporting, and acute or chronic pain,

Saras Soni
Physiotherapist

Saras completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from India in 2010.

Since then he has worked in variety of settings such as private hospitals, state level basketball teams and private clinic. 

After moving to Australia, he spent last 7 years working in private clinic, aged care and community. 

In addition to Physiotherapy, Saras also holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage. 

Saras has special interest in working with aged population and feels passionate about enabling his clients to achieve their goals, maximise their function and to help them achieve improved quality of life.

Ahmed Abdelghany
Physiotherapist

Ahmed graduated from Cairo University in Egypt on 2010 with a Bachelor degree of physiotherapy. and since then, he has practiced physiotherapy in three countries, Egypt, Sultanate of Oman and started his career in Australia in January 2019. In the last 12 years Ahmed has worked in most of physio roles including community physio, private practice and aged care. 

 

In the last 2 years Ahmed has been interested in in-home rehabilitation as he believes that its always affects the clients in a positive way to be treated in their own environment and helps them achieve their goals of being as independent as possible in their homes.

Alex Ho
Physiotherapist

Alex is a registered Physiotherapist (AUS, HK) and an allied health leader. Since graduating from Curtin University, he has been working in various clinical settings including private practices, hospital, community and residential aged care facilities. Alex is a current committee member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association Gerontology Group.

 

To better assist clients with reaching their potential and maximising quality of life, Alex has completed further training to be a GLA:D certified practitioner that deliver comprehensive education and evidence-based management to individuals with hip and knee OA, and will soon be completing his postgraduate study in rehabilitation. Operationally, he involves in strategic planning, budget management and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.

Nixon Wong
Physiotherapist

Nixon graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and since then has been working in multiple areas of the physiotherapy field including private practice, home-based rehabilitation, residential aged care and sports team.

 

Nixon believes in a holistic and individualized approach for his clients and uses a combination of manual therapy, patient education, clinical exercise, and self-management strategies. He also provides individualized exercise programs for his client to recover from their injuries, achieve their goals and improve their well-being.

 

Nixon also speaks fluent Cantonese, English and Mandarin

Umar Sikander
Physiotherapist

Umar graduated from the University of Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy. After graduation, he gained more than 6 years of experience working in a 650-bed hospital specializing in orthopedic surgeries recognized by AO Spine Switzerland. He Specializes in Musculoskeletal, Spinal, and orthopedic Rehabilitation.

 

His interests lie in post-surgical rehab, reconditioning/fall prevention, and disability therapy.

Gladys Sango
Physiotherapist

Gladys Sango graduated with a doctor of physiotherapy from the university of Melbourne in 2019. Prior to that she completed a bachelor of biomedical science from La Trobe University.

Gladys has always had an interest in the workings of the human body and now gets to work with and help people using those principles to help in their recovery and rehabilitation.

She has a particular passion for and experience in paediatric and geriatric physiotherapy and enjoys providing the opportunity for people to improve functionally, to allow for them to be able to do the things they love to do.

Jimmy Lee
Physiotherapist

Jimmy has over 15 years of clinical experience with a vast range of experience in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Neurological rehabilitation and Sports injury management. Jimmy believes an ancient saying ” To live is to move.” and enjoys helping people to move to live a better life quality. 

 

Jimmy Speaks English and Mandarin.

Oliver Wong
Physiotherapist

Oliver graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and has been working in private practice since graduating in 2020. 

 

Oliver has had a keen interest in sports from a young age, which has led to his interest in the treatment of sporting and musculoskeletal injuries. He is particularly interested in treating conditions of the knee, shoulder, neck and back. 

 

As a physiotherapist, Oliver is passionate about working together with his clients to help them achieve their goals. He uses a combination of manual techniques and exercise therapy in order to achieve the best outcomes.
